Don’t miss Maestro Shafer’s final concert as Artistic Director of the City Choir of Washington, as he conducts what Brahms called his “human” Requiem, in the grandeur of Washington National Cathedral.
This concert is dedicated to the people of Ukraine: In memory of the victims of the war in Ukraine, and for those who mourn.
Her Excellency Oksana Markarova, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, is the honorary patron of this concert.
The City Choir of Washington will be joined by Choralis; a full orchestra; and soloists Katelyn Aungst, soprano and James Shaffran, baritone.
