After more than 50 storied years of leading major choruses in Washington, D.C., Maestro Robert Shafer is retiring as the Artistic Director of the City Choir of Washington. Come celebrate his illustrious career with a sumptuous reception and dinner at Restaurant 2941 in Falls Church, Virginia.
The event, with beloved local baritone James Shaffran as emcee, will feature a program honoring Maestro Shafer, the presentation of his retirement gift from the City Choir of Washington, an hors d'oeuvres reception, unlimited wine, beer, and soft drinks, and a three-course dinner.
