MARISA ARBONA-RUIZ is an Emmy Award-winning Producer/Director/Writer & Actor/Musician. She is an Arts and Culture contributor to NPR and NBC.
Marisa is an Emmy and Telly award-winning writer/producer/director. Her work spans television news magazines; radio reporting and podcast co-hosting; documentary filmmaking; PSAs; multimedia journalism; and includes producing for bilingual-bicultural Latino markets. Marisa is driven by a strong sense of excellence in telling stories that engage, educate and inspire. At the heart of her work is a passion to awaken audiences to our interconnectedness to each other and our Earth. Among her strengths are big-picture vision with an eye for the details of execution, tenacity and a collaborative team spirit. Marisa's storytelling is informed by both her versatile creativity and her Latinx, Indigenous and global perspectives. Marisa is a singer, actor, and voiceover talent. She has performed in concerts from the Kennedy Center to the White House. When not in production, she can be found breaking into song and dance on random concert stages.
