TWC TV: Interview with Bob Shafer

The Washington Chorus interviewed its past and future artistic directors on April 30, 2020, including Robert Shafer, Julian Wachner, Christopher Bell, and Eugene Rogers.

Maestro Shafer was artistic director of the Washington Chorus (previously the Oratorio Society of Montgomery County and the Oratorio Society of Washington) for over 35 years. Shafer conducted the Washington Chorus in its live performance of the Britten War Requiem, for which he won a Grammy Award in 2000.
